FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHY ONLINE?

Yoga is a very personal practice and what better place to practice than in your own home, being able to personalise your space to suit you.

Also, practicing privately gives you the confidence to explore poses to suit your body without the fear of comparison.

However,  practicing online without any guidance or personal modifications is risky as it could lead to injury. That is why all our in-person classes are live so the teacher can see you and guide you.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR CLASS?

  • Your own mat. Feel free to check out our store if you wish to buy one.

  • Comfortable clothing depending on the class you are taking. Some people like to have blankets handy for the Yin class.

  • Computer ideally with camera and clear sound. Classes are held via Google Meet, which can be joined via your web browser. You should receive your class link at least 30min prior to start.

  • Blocks/straps, while not essentially, may be usually if you have them.

WHAT IF I AM A TOTAL BEGINNER?

All classes are suited to all levels and any good teacher should be able to accommodate all levels in a single class. Remember to always read your body and not go into postures that just don't feel right.

Also feel free to let us know prior to class so that we can keep extra close eye on you.

WHERE ARE IN-STUDIO CLASSES HELD?

In-studio classes are held in the very spacious St Andrew's Uniting Church hall, 5 Vernon St South Turramurra NSW.
